    • How do I add custom levels to Worms World Party?

To add a custom landscape to WWP simply save the BMP, TIFF or JPG file into the directory USER/IMPORT on your WWP root folder. Typically the BMP files will take up more space on your hard disk, but JPG files can be badly compressed and cause colour bleeding.

    • How do I play on a custom landscape?

To load a custom landscape into worms right click on the landscape selecter in the setup screen. This will bring you to the custom landscape menu. The disk icon brings up the load screen. Simply choose the name of the level you desire and click OK. WWP will spend a few seconds formatting the image for gameplay. Click OK and you will return to the game options screen. Click on the tick to start your game.

    • Where can I get custom landscapes?

Good question. This site has a couple of landscapes for you to download but there are more out there on the net to find. The best thing you can do is to make your own.

    • How do I make a custom landscape?

You can make a landscape using any good paint package. The image should be 1920 pixels wide and 696 pixels high and can be in bitmap, tiff or jpeg format (Be carefull with jpegs, although they have low file sizes the image quality can suffer. Where possible save jpegs with the LEAST compression possable).
The background of the image should be black (#000000) and you should be careful of images containing black as these areas will be cut away (the black areas are where the worms can move around). The best thing to do is download one of the files from this site and experiment.
Once your file is finished why not send it in to me and if it's any good I'll post it up on the website. Don't forget to zip the file up as no-one enjoys a 3 meg attatchment!

    • How do I make missions?

When you create a landscape you must save it as a bitmap for use in the mission editor (which can be downloaded from Team17). Once you run the mission editor select what kind of mission you want to make (single player, multiplayer, training, etc...) and click on create. From here on it's a case of fiddleing to work out what you want, don't forget to setup how the mission should end and to give your worms weapons.
