The obvious progression
Worms 2 was the natural step up from the original - superior graphics, more features and more weapons thrown into the fray. The one thing this version didn't have, though, was the ability to use home-made levels like its predecessor.
New single-player missions brought a lot more variety to the game, WormNET was born, and players around the world were battling it out in an attempt to reign supreme.
While at ECTS I had the privilege of meeting Andy at the Team17 stand and playing an early beta against the man himself. Of course, he thrashed me - and explained some of the new directions he was hoping to take Worms in. Top fella, and thanks for the game.
